Good Lord!!

Without a doubt, coming out into nature is one of the neatest things there is to do, but you also have to be careful. That’s why I always try to pack the heat — try to pack a gun. Just a little bit — pack some heat. Now this isn’t too — this isn’t much of a big boy, I don’t want to kill the animal, but I do want to warn it, and say “hey, I think you’re pretty neat, but I respect your distance.” There’s bears out here, there’s mountain cougars, and biting goats.

This photo doesn't give it justice.  In person it is amazing.  If you get into Bismarck Scheel's he is in there.

I saw the other picture of this Buck and cannot believe it was a ND deer.  Only thing I know about it is that it was a roadkill buck.  Is that correct??  If so, that is too bad that someone couldn't have harvested this beast.  Was the person who found it able to claim the deer or did it have to be turned over to the G & F??

It was a road kill buck.  And yes, the guy came to a stop and went back to investigate.  He called the NDGF immediately after realizing what was laying dead.

It is a shame but at least we can honor the buck.  What if it just ran off and died somewhere never to be found.  Ya know.
