Photo Description:
We had a great Friday of hunting and I ended it doing a fun spot and stalk on this buck! I was able to close the distance to about 30 yards and he got curious as to what I was and walked another few yards closer before he knew what hit him!

good job, looks like you had a fun weekend only 2 arrows left in the quiver, anytime you stick a goat makes for a good weekend, gotta love those young dumb curious goats.

I only keep 3 in my quiver at a time and I was too excited and forgot to look for the killing arrow right away.

Despite the heat, it was a blast! Not a lot of animals to choose from and we didn't see any bruisers.

Dirty got one one on Friday as well, we'll see if he decides to post his pic

The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. Then why do I hunt? I hunt for the same reason my well-fed cat hunts...because I must, because it is in the blood, because I am the decendent of a thousand generations of hunters. I hunt because I am a hunter.- Finn Aagard
