He's a great deer, hope you get him! He will gross score well, his net score will get hurt because of the common base  his right side G2 n G3 share but who the heck cares! good luck!

5575 is right about the net score. He will gross something huge though. Nets are for fish anyway.

WOW, i agree about the net score.  Let the deer and the hunter take credit for what the deer actualy has for horns.  I would probably fall out of the tree if he came in!!!  NICE BUCK, I would guess 185 at least, depending on how much he shrinks out of velvet.

Wow, nice buck and great pic.  Definitely a shooter.  Just curious, what part of the state was the pic taken?  Central, north central, southeast, northwest?  Good luck, hope you bag him!

not sure if anyone here is with me but i think 200 inches is a slight exaggeration....he is a great deer and i'm not trying to take that away but there is no way any of his tines are 13 inches or that he has 40 inches of mass...he does not average 5 inches per circumfrence...that is almost unheardof...and you can't even see if the deer has g5's let alone ones that are 3 inches long.....and if his spread is more than 19 i would also be surprised....i would say somewhere in the 170 to 175 gross score and like previously mentioned will have lots of deductions because of the common base on the g2 and g3 of his right antler.....hope you get him so we can see actual score....
I am a deer hunter, one thing about deer is they have very good vision, one thing about me is i am better at hiding then they are at vision.

If you have to think twice....he is not a shooter!

I am pretty sure the spread will go over 19 inches.

Without a doubt, coming out into nature is one of the neatest things there is to do, but you also have to be careful. That’s why I always try to pack the heat — try to pack a gun. Just a little bit — pack some heat. Now this isn’t too — this isn’t much of a big boy, I don’t want to kill the animal, but I do want to warn it, and say “hey, I think you’re pretty neat, but I respect your distance.” There’s bears out here, there’s mountain cougars, and biting goats.

That wouldn't be from the same southeastern ND spot where that 240" non-typical was shot a couple of years ago. Just a random thought that crossed my mind.

That center buck from a few years ago should have been it.  Those little tiny stickers at the base could have just as well not have been on it and he'd be the new world record.  Or so I remember from the discussion.

But yeah, to get 200 it takes a lot.  This buck most likely does not have that.

That's the only thing I found.  There is a bunch of talk forums and a story written about it with all the numbers on him.  Can't track that down.  Might have been lost in the old system or something.

Yes who can forget that deer, when we put the Rackulator on him it was scary because the nubers were adding up so quick!  Until we got to the bases a person really thought that it could give Milo a run for his money.
I remember mentioning "man this thing would make p&y without measuring a tine"..seriously! Beams were around 30" and mass was over 40", just an incredible incredible animal.

He ended up grossing something like 230 I believe, and if not for the trash at his bases he would have been within mere inches of the Hanson buck.
It was a bad deal that he died the way he did but at least the guy did the right thing and called the authorities and was able to get a tag on it, and get it mounted so that folks could get a chance to see it and it didn't rot in a ditch somewhere.

I'd heard there were  bowhunters after him, I'd love to see trail camera footage off him if anyone has some they would want to share!

Yeah I don't see how it would dip below 180.  But I have hardly seen a buck this big before other than looking at the Center and Nelson bucks.

This deer is dead now. Was shot by a bowhunter just into SD but was not recovered, It was found later in the season by bird hunters. Netted 192 and would have been SD's new typical record.
