Got this guy last evening. My best bull by far and the NEW best bull of our household.Just stopped by to do my time sheet for work, now off to start packing meat. 8 yard shot and you guys know the rest. HOYT+STRIKER=Dinner!!! The bulls were SCREAMING all day!

Re:The packing SUCKED in the 80's today and a long pack, but I did get to rap off 6 rounds with my pistol at a black bear only to have him look at me and wonder what I was doing. Man I'm 0-12 on pistol shots at bears. Just think I carry that pistol to save my life. LOL

Congrats on the great bowkills so far! Looks like you are off to a great start this fall! The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. Then why do I hunt?
