My son Chris and I were about to throw in the towel in Nevada this year when finally on day 12 Chris located a great solid looking buck. The buck browsed out of sight and we had to make a move in an effort to relocate him. Chris miraculously relocated the buck then moved in. He set up across the valley in an old deer bed, he then dialed in 500 yards, doped the wind and waited for him to stand. About two hours later he stood and Chris made a great shot, knocking him off his feet. I watched in my scope from about a half mile, I saw the buck hit the dirt then a second or two later heard the shot. It was a great ending to a very demanding hunt.
