I'm looking for a taxidermist that does great work on Perch. Who has some perch mounts out there? Where did you get them done? Do you have pictures? I am tired at looking at the perch on the rocks. Sticks are a little more imaginative, but what else is there out there?

I like this style of mount.

Are you looking for wall mounts or possibly mounts for counter tops, on top of entertainment centers, etc.?

Dude, simmer, Its not my mount, i dont like the look of the fish either.  I'm trying to give the guy some ideas for his perch mount.

This would be cool with 2 or 3 perch instead of a bass.

Stanley, so anywhere within a couple hundred miles. I'll travel for a really good taxidermist.

Rickie Stewart out of Epping has done about 5 fish mounts for me, 1 being a perch, and has done some other perch for a couple friends of mine.  He does excellent work, gets things done very quickly and is very reasonably priced.

Who did that mount bluedevil?

I have tried calling Rich Stewart, but I can never get ahold of the guy. Must've tried a dozen times. The phone just rings and rings. I have a buddy that got a small mouth done by him and he did a great job!

If you are looking for the best of the best for perch mounts go to Wayne Zespy in Lakota.  he did a glass case 360 mount for me and it is unbelievable.  701-247-2628 is his number.  Wayne is the real deal and no one in the state does better fish than him.  he also does rush orders for more money.  Wayne is an artist.  30 year plus experience.

RIch can be a little hard to get ahold of.  I would keep trying and you will get him.

Wayne doesn't have a website.  He doesn't need one.  I dont have a photo of my mount so  Ican't  share at this time.  If you live near lakota stop in and he can show you his work.  The best part is he doesn't charge any more than the competition and his work is much better, especially on fish.

I would say that SILSETH in Minot is by far the best with any fish!
Hands down.
I think he goes by FISHSTUFFER.
I had a 2lb perch done by him 4 years ago and it still looks like I just got it.
I think he limits how many mounts he takes a year but I know he is at the top for awards and quality of work.
