This story is beyond belief.  How can those people live with themselves and continue on with their lives knowing they did nothing to stop this guy.  I hope the AD and VP go to prison for lying to the grand jury about whether they knew this happened.

Paterno might be right legally , but morally how could you keep your mouth shut , once it was reported to you . This Sandusky guy is toast and very well should spend the rest of his life in prison .

No difference between this and the Holy Catholic church. Exactly why I don't like the holy catholic church. That being said, I hope everyone from the then grad assistant (and now receivers coach) to Paterno and the J.A.s in the school admin who did nothing go to prison with this pedophile. Period.

What the hell? Unreal. What the hell are these people thinking if the media reports are accurate? What the hell would you do if you caught some pervert molesting a kid? I would imagine most of us would do whatever necessary to beat the a-hole to a bloody pulp. They report it. Makes me wonder why the police were not notified.
Maybe Joe Pa is a pervert himself? Why else would the guy not get the authorities involved. I smell a rat.

Like I said, I am glad the NCAA is doing all it can to make UND's life miserable.

Of course, the answer to this is "the NCAA cannot do anything."  Yeah, yeah, whatever.

I've grown to think the NCAA is a branch of the U.S. government.  Sure operates like one.

What they said last night on Anderson Cooper was that in some states/organizations there is one person that is incharge of reporting something like this to the authorities and in this case Joe followed what he was supposed to do. I am not sticking up for him just saying what they said last night. It sounds like the Pres. of the school knew about this as well and did not report it. They interviewed an expert in these type of cases and she said for a legal stand pt. Joe should have nothing to worry about. This whole case is terrible.

 Just heard on the news that Joe Pa is retiring, said he "wishes he would have done more."

That perv is REALLY LUCKY the kid's Dads didn't catch him in the act.
 
Maybe that's the problem... the kids were with that perv because Dad was a loser and wasn't parenting like he should have been.

I can't wait till the day that old man goes to prison.  You know they will take care of him in there.

So the trend goes. Couple more NCAA schools each year with some sort of scandal. Maybe all NCAA schools should have to shut down the athletic programs until all the scandal is cleaned up everywhere and then we can get back to what the original intent of college academics and sports was. Getting sick of hearing about something each and every year. You don't even get this much crap from the NFL. Don't get me wrong, I love football but this is getting ridiculous.

Good idea Tuffdog but the NCAA would lose out on sports revenues if they did that.  The NCAA is not going to let a single dollar slip through their fingers.

I agree.   Here is one for you.   Would you hire someone who witnessed a molestation and they guy didn't do anything to stop it other than "report it to a superior" the next day?    Are you kidding me?   The guy should have ripped the balls off the pervert and saved them as evidence in a jar of formaldehyde.  He then should have called 911 and got the police in there immediately to do the rape testing etc. so the POS would rot in jail for the rest of his life.   Absolutely no excuse for McQueary (how ironic of a name) imho.
Also,  I wouldn't be surprised if "JoePA" wasn't in on it.   No pun intended.
