I was planning to head to Pelican or Cherry Lake tomorrow, is there any good reports on these two lakes? I fished New Johns on Friday and I probably would of had better luck fishing my brother-in-laws dugout, still no action out of that lake.

fished with minnows. half dozen northerns lb n half to two... some attacking perch as pull them in.
20 small perch.... all still swiming in the lake. |

Road has been plowed open... haven't tried it yet. did see one clam out trying it.

Starting to come into late winter/spring conditions.....
Pelican,,, sort through 40 perch to keep 15... Long lake/turtle mountains. better average size. 25 to keep 20... but meat has spots. Lots of freshwater shrimp, water beetles and other bugs/minnows for them to eat so healthy fish. |
