Yeah, I realize most of your comments are meant as joking.    The ad DOES impress me, though.  Assuming the ad is legit and the stuff isn't hot, it doesn't sound like he needs an intervention to me.

 are you losing it? Any woman that really loves you would not make you sell all your possessions to buy her a ring... I good woman knows that it doesn't matter if a ring costs 1000 or 100,000 its the love and committment that counts.

As Tim mentioned he is getting off cheap.  I didnt have to sell things like this guy, but at the end of the day if it was the choice I had made I would have.  I dont think it is right for us to judge as bobkat is saying.  This guy is maybe giving up one love for another based of his choices and free will.  Who are we to judge? 

I would like to know what his best offer is on the AR15 my dad said he would by me a gun for graduating this month.  Hmmm wonder if he would take five hundered cash.  Anyone know if you can get an AR for around five hundred

Yes, this would be cheap if that was all he needed to pay for it, heck I paid 5x that for ring and wedding.  I am glad I was able to cover it without selling prized items, but if I would have told my wife that I was selling thousands in hunting and fishing gear to pay for it I am pretty sure she would have stopped me and we would have looked for an affordable ring or good financing.  The replacement cost for this individual would be very expensive.  He would be better off financing because for him to replace that stuff a few years down the road would cost him thousands more than interest paid on a personal loan.  If it is true love and a great relationship, you can't put a price on that.  That being said, I have also seen guys blinded by love/lust an throwing their hard earned things at a real piece of work of a woman.
