Paddle fishing problem?

I was getting pumped to go paddle fishing & I heard that there is a possibility that if u snag this fish in the wrong spot, it can spoil the entire meat?  Does anyone know if this is true?  I mean first u have to snag it, let alone stab it with ur steely-gafney hook, so if there is a certain spot not to hit--this would prove even more of a challenge......I  still want to go though--jsut for braggin rites!!

Never heard of a thing and I have snagged them all over the body.  Only thing with paddlefish is make sure you get the red meat off of the filets.  North Star Caviar will make sure your filets are good to go and ready to eat with no red meat.

If you get a normal sized paddlefish, you will have so much meat you won't know what to do with it...If you ruin a little bit I wouldn't be too concerned.
