Baitcaster, is Nathis slough the body of water just on the other side of the road from buffalo?

Absolutely hammered them! Fished Nathis Slough south of Buffalo lake last Tuesday. To be honest fishing wasn't great, but did hammer the brewskis! LOL.. Really though, we caught about 25 perch and no northerns. Had the tip-up go off once, but nothing on the end of it. Perch ranged from 8 to 11 inches, more on the 9.5 inch range. They wouldn't hit on minnows. Wax worms worked the best. Had to jig for them too. Just getting the thread going here to see if anyone else is havnig any luck around the Forman area. went to slough south of forman. ice good, lots of little perch. Good for remembering how to set hook!
