I went out to Skjermo with a few friends yesterday and had zero luck on perch. We did boat 7 pike between 15"-22". Nothing big. The weather and timing seemed to have everything slow. Fish were caught trolling using some soft baits. Color didn't seem to matter. All in all fun for a few hours.

Blacktail Dam, jigging minnows and wax worms 3 bites no fish in 20 to 9 feet of water. 2 tip ups out, 2 bites no fish with a floater and minnow on the bottom in 20 and 15 feet of water. |

fished mcleod lake at ray i was wondering if anyone els has fished this lake or if its just a body of water? drilled holes and seen fresh water shrimp come up in large amounts i am wondering if there are any fish there? didnt even have a bite but a few years back tried it in the summer caught some nice perch out of there.

Fished Blacktail on Saturday we fished in about 18ft and picked up about 20 pearch but all were about 6 inches I have no idea where all the big perch are they have to be down there. On a good note picked up 8 blue gill that were very nice and actually they fight harder than perch. We had our cameras down and saw alot of fish it was very interesting the gills would scatter and then a northern would come into the picture it was pretty entertaining.

Went to White Earth Dam yesterday afternoon. The weather was windy, overcast with spits or rain. Brought in 3 northerns using spoons with a very fast retrieval. If we didn't real fast we got caught up in the moss. We even got some action on some slip bobbers.

Has anyone been doing any good on white earth dam? I was thinking about taking my boat out and I was just curious if anyone is having any luck or if the water is still too cold. |

My boys fished all night Sat on White Earth dam but managed only a few dinks and a couple hammer handles before dark. Sally and I went again today after noon until dark could only scrape up 2 hammer handles. A bit early on this lake, have to wait for the thorn apples to blossom before things take off.
