I have been looking at a specific gun online and obviously there are many sellers to choose from. I was pretty much sold on Bud's Gun's but noticed a site called Cheaper Than Dirt that has it a bit cheaper. Gun Broker was also pretty high on the gun.Any feedback from any of you on who you have used and the service you have received.

Buds is easy to deal with, never used cheaper than dirt.  Wiedners is also easy to buy from.

I have a good friend who is amazingly knowledgeable with guns and on line ordering. I know he does it all of the time so I'll ask him and see what he thinks & let you know if you like.  On average he buys two guns per month!

This is what he told me about them. Good luck to you!
Gunbroker is like eBay - it isn't one seller, but thousands of sellers, so what you see today may not be the same as what you see tomorrow.  Truly market driven.  I've bought from both Bud's and Cheaper, and received good value from each.  I have, however, heard alarming stories about customer service and attitude from Cheaper, so as is the case in every transaction, long distance or otherwise, buyer beware.

I don't know about Buying on line from Cheaper but have been to their store in Texas.  I found it interesting and fun to visit.  Have made some purchases there and was satisfied with the products.  It was always a busy place when I stopped.  The store itself is actually quite small.

Thanks for the feedback..
Here is the dilema I am having now. The gun/package I want, Bud's currently does not stock. Cheaper Than Dirt has it and a very good price on it, but I have heard mixed reviews about them. I have seen a few other sites that have it but were much higher on price......Just was wondering if anyone had an online dealer they just love doing business with...

It's really none of our business, but, what are you looking at that you can't buy at least somewhat locally for a competitive price?

Horsager,
The gun I am looking at is an XD Sub Compact 9mm 3"......The local retailers are on average over a $100-$125 above the on-line competition, and tha'ts just for the gun. It doesn't take into consideration the complete package I am shopping for...

If you buy and XD and have trouble with it you would still send it back to Springfield for warranty work, so if no one locally will match your cost buy it from CTD.
