Anyone have any predictions on what all this rain might do to the fishing on the river down south. I hope it doesn't kill it.

It rained pretty good Monday morning down at Cattail. That didn't seem to stop the fish from biting later that day. We limited out in a few hours.

I would expect a lot of muddy water from Apple Creek, just like a couple of months ago.   I guess we'll have to see if fishing is impacted.  My guess is that it won't be hurt that much.

Might even help fishing if it doesn't get crazy dirty.

It might get a bit muddy but there is a whole lot of water down south. It was so clear that you could see diving lures that were snagged several feet down. Other than Apple Creek I am not sure that any other rivers were hit that hard. Apple Creek is flowing like a bandit.

Took most of today off of work.  Fishing was terrible!

Water not nearly as bad as a person would have thought, but only caught three in almost five hours today.

All on cranks, couldn't buy a fish if a jig was attached to the pole.

fished out of Hazelton wed eve.  the water north around eckroth was stained  (12-18") visibility and south around ft. rice was crystal clear.  i assume that stained water will be working its way south. bite was ok w/ lots of small fish to sort thru

Fished in the rain storm on June 6. Temps dropped considerable from the night before and fishing was down right NASTY. We really didn't have a problem picking up our fish, as were running cranks south of town. Personally I don't think it has much affect on fishing if you are uning cranks correctly. Faster speeds seemed to get them going!

Good Luck!

Fished out of Cattail yesterday after the storm.........we fished cranks in 8,12 and20 and finished with 7.  My son got his first walleye at 23.5".  The water was crystal clear.
