BOMBSHELL…Supreme Court now has Obama Citizenship

AP- WASHINGTON  D.C. - In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group Americans for Freedom of Information has Released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program.  To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking.

Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim.  The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama's legitimacy and qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue.

Britain's Daily Mail also carried the story in a front-page article titled, Obama Eligibility Questioned leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama's first official visit to  the U.K.

In a related matter, under growing pressure from several  groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama's legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey . This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio's case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama's citizenship or qualification to serve as president.

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice  Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama's campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in  12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

You know, I hope he is a "legal" citizen and he wasn't lying about things.  It will look really, really bad.  Bad as Clinton satisfying himself in the Oval Office.  Uffda.

The "story" posted indicates it is an AP story but isn't on the wires.  I'm not biting yet.

If Obama was impeached, I would think that it would take all the wind out of their sails and the dems would be very careful on who they upset (maybe not). Joe wouldn't get reelected anyway. It's very obvious that is a dirtball! I still would love to see it happen!

This is being reported on several forums but at this point it looks like the mainstream press is passing. Could be interesting.

Ha ha, yeah, if this is a legit release I will NOT BE SURPRISED the news folks don't pick it up.  But then again, I'm just a theorist that believes the media (most media) leans to the left.

There must be something to it, otherwise the Obama camp would have put more effort into discounting it, rather than keeping it under wraps.  The qualifications to be an eligable candidate for President are written in our Constitution (going on memory here).  If this case is legit, it just goes to show how this man is willing to bend the constitution for his own personal gain.  Scary stuff.

I'm interested in the places between places.

I couldn't find it on FoxNews either.  Care to try again?  If this was straight up legit, FOX would not hesitate to run with it.  If the facts in the story are ture, there is only one solution.  Probably the biggest political news in decades.  No news outlet would miss that.

Maybe every news outlet is trying to double and triple check every detail but, the AP byline is odd.  Isn't the AP pretty well regarded?

Can You Find…? Chump of the Day: Glock Talk

Can you find any website (other than this fictitious one) for Americans for Freedom of Information?

Can you find any actual Occidental College application for Barack Obama or “Barry Soetoro”?

When you go to Google News or Newsbank or Lexis-Nexis or any other newspaper database, can you find any direct record of an actual Associated Press article regarding Barack Obama applying as “Barry Soetoro” to Occidential College as a foreign student?

Using the same method, can you find any record of any article in Britain’s Daily Mail with the headline “Obama Eligibility Questioned”?

The answer is no: no, you cannot.

Given that you cannot find these things — because they do not exist — what do you conclude?

Option A) That the story regarding Barack Obama registering as Indonesian “Barry Soetoro” at Occidental College is a hoax and a lie.

Option B) That the effort to suppress the truth about Barack Obama’s foreign origins is even more sweeping and nefarious than previously imagined, including the power to erase transcripts, records, organizations and multiple news stories entirely.

If you visit the message boards for “Glock Talk”, the answer appears to be Option B. And that makes Glock Talk our Chump of the Day!

Like I said, I'm glad.

And I still stand by my point.  The media is left.

You know how long it took me to figure out that this is a pile of crap?  It took me one Google search.  I searched for "Americans for Freedom of Information" and the first search result was this:  http://amfoi.wordpress.com/.

I so want my fellow Americans to be smarter than this and you people let me down.

What's your excuse for not thinking critically about this story?  Is your excuse "it fits right into my ignorant prejudices"?

Be better than that.

C'mon Ladd, you know that Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor and just our guys get slaughtered. And Bush arranged for 9/11 just to further his agenda. I am not a huge believer in conspiracy theories. Now that brings us to this Obama thing. I still believe he is hiding something regarding his birth/citizenship. I find the analysis of the COLB by "Dr. Ron Polarik" (not his real name) interesting from a forensic standpoint. It would seem that if he had the real birth certificate, he would produce it and end the speculation unless it is just a tool to occupy his critics in the true fashion of a politician. I do find HJ Res. 5 introduced by Representative José Serrano (D)NY interesting though. He seems to want to repeal the 22nd amendment limiting the terms of the president. Now how would a permanent Obama dictatorship of this country play?

Obama would be smart to not respond to it. If he responds to his critics he gives their arguments credibility. That's why I wish he would stop holding press conferences every other day to answer his critics. It's embarassing for the rest of us. Our president looks like a complete manchild to our enemies. I guess if the shoe fits...

Obama has no problem walking all over the constitution and as such, even if this were true, wouldn't lead to any action whatsoever. For goodness sake, the guy fired the CEO of General Motors! Where the #$%*! is that in the constitution!?!?!

You have to admit, the topic is interesting.

I have always said, only partially in jest, that Obama chose Biden partially because most on the right wing extremists side would not want to see him in the Oval Office.  And of course, you can't lose both the P and VP now either as that would put Pelosi in charge.

How's that for a scary proposition?
