Not many days left for ice fishing!!!

My Jimmy got back last nite, caught 10, lost a few. Got 5 3lb Walleyes b4 midnite & 5 after!!  wow........over at Audabon, ice is going fast!!!

As of Apr 6th folks were still needing to use an extension on their auger on Devils Lake.

A person could probably use an extension on much of Sakakawea but unless you have Inspector Gadget legs you ain't getting on the ice.  Good ice out and about but along shore it is over.  We searched the shoreline long and hard on Friday and Saturday and finally found a couple places you could get on.  Friday didn't need a ladder and 2 x 6 boards.  Saturday we needed the ladder extended and the 2 x 6's.  It's over folks.

Doesn't much matter.  Northern fishing was basically non-existent.
