Went out with a buddy on Saturday and fished the east side of the lake on one of the two land formations that stick out into the water. The dock is still underwater and completely inaccessible at this moment in time. A guy could fish off the boat ramp dock but it is usually full of people on the weekends.
My buddy and I each used a lindy rig with a crawler on one pole and casted a inline spinner on another pole. We were able to catch about 17-19 perch off of our lindy rigs. Most of the perch were very small, about 2 to 4 inches, but we were able to catch a 10 incher and a 8 incher and a few 5-6 inchers. We also caught 2 walleye off the lindy rigs which were about 8-10 inches each. We used the inline spinners to catch trout. During the whole day, we only managed to catch 3 rainbows which varied from 12-14 inches. Lots of trout jumping out of the water, but they just seemed like the did not want to bite. They would not even go after crawlers when we used a bobber set-up. So a slow day on the trout. |

Pretty cold out after getting 10 inches of snow yesterday in SW ND... The water was all open down at North Lemmon though.
The dock has been pushed in on the north side by someone and was sitting awkwardly in the water. Was able to get on the dock though. We cast some fuzzygrub jigs with some trout attractant and got a couple bites. Pulled in one nice 18 inch one and put her back....We didn't feel like cleaning one fish. Overall a pretty slow day. |

Went out on Saturday and caught some good size rainbows. Fishing 15ft and they were suspended btwn 12-8ft. Tried for perch, but they were not biting anything. Marked fish on the bottom a lot but just weren't that interested I guess.
