Canada geese are everywhere from Riverdale to Coleharbor, but they're educated! we had geese flying over us non stop from sunrise to 2pm. I've never seen geese flare to our decoys like they did today. we couldn't get it figured out before we quit, so ended up a few short of our limit but still a blast with non stop action.

went goose hunting yesterday by botno to over by renville corner. lot of geese in the air but only a couple of flocks here an there landed. dont really knw where the good huntin is. any info greatly appreciated

I two coyotes this afternoon. I missed another and a fox. Saw one before i even made it to my hunting spot so didnt get to shoot at that one. There out there, just gotta find them.

Went out on Saturday and I've gotta say what a perfect day! We were not even 100 yards into the the first walk and my friends lab got birdy and worked up a sharp-tail right in front of my friend and he made a good shot and knocked him down. Then not 5 mins later my setter went on point right in front of me and 3 sharp-tails got up and I got 2 of the 3, then as i was looking for one of the downed ones my setter locked up again and thinking he was pointing the dead one i told him to fetch and he moved and another one flushed and i got that one! 200 total yard long walk and 4 beautiful sharp-tails. Then we moved to another spot where I have seen both grouse and Huns and figured we could proly find 2 more sharp-tails. This spot is a little hill with some evergreen trees and nice grass surrounded by a stubble field, a great spot by anybody's standards, but this is a confidence spot for me. Everyone has those spots. Total area of this spot is about 300 yards at most. We were about half ways done with it when one Partridge jumped about 25 yards ahead of me and i made a nice crossing shot between 2 trees, then as the lab is on his way to retrieve it he flushes another one and i got another one. After retrieving that one we started working around the hill top a bit more and found the covey. Mike made 2 great shots for 2 more then we followed the covey of about 15 more birds about 100 yards away from the hill top to a small rock pile surrounded by some tall stubble and got our last 2 to limit out. Oh and did i mention we also shot 6 ducks on the day. What a amazing day, good dogs and a great friend and ideal weather, can u have a better day than that!!
