New Gun Shop in Bismarck Now Open! Shooters

Well, I was in Shooters tonight and they have .22 long rifle and 9mm in stock. Cody said he will be adding to his inventory in the coming weeks. No doubt a tough time to open a new store inventory availability wise. Anyhow, Shooters has a neat selection of not-so-typical stuff, as well as the regular goodies you would expect. Prices appear to be very very fair and I can only hope he keeps them down!

Also, he went to school for gunsmithing! Finally, a schooled gunsmith for the Bismarck/Mandan area.

I have high hopes for this shop. It is located on East Expressway, in the same strip mall as the Dairy Queen. Across the road is Arby's, not too far from Sams Club and Walmart.

Lol, at least he has them! Prevents people from stockpiling too, making them available for those who really want or need to use them. $.10 a pop is still cheap entertainment in my book.

talked to Cody about this and he said thats all he has for stock right now on the .22 ammo and is trying to keep it in stock till he gets more thats why he had it priced so High. You and I know the horders out there would have bought it all by now and put it on bismanonline.com and sold for a higher price if it was cheap. I bought a box of 45 acp 50 rounds for $25.

Dropped off my sig sauer 45 told him what it was doing called me back after I got home for about 20 minutes said he had to working already. My shotgun will be ready by tomorrow evening unless he needs to get me parts.

I even had my 2 year old with and she was being a turd and wasnt listening to me he was understanding and was still pretty easy going guy. If he gets that shotgun to work he will have return buisiness from here on out.

He said that he had it priced so high, so that he would always have it in stock.  He was basically trying to everyone a favor

If the prices are kept high, it assures that there will always be some in stock.

I'm surprised how some places are losing money selling ammo for that much less than other places. There are a few places...one in Fargo, one in Carrington that I have bought .22 LR Winchester (white box red text) for 525 for $23.00 and 333 for 13.79.

I mean, if one place is selling 500 for $56, the above places I mentioned are obviously losing money.  Kudos to them. ;)

Wondering what the opinion is of this place now that it's been open for awhile. I've purchased a number of gun parts and some odds and ends. I really like chatting with Cody when he's got the time. Shooters has really become a place I look forward to stopping every time I'm in Bismarck. Really a lot of cool stuff and priced reasonably.

I was in looking for some brass a while back. Talked to Cody and it sounds like they are pretty busy with work. There were a lot of people in the store they all wanted to BS and talk guns with him and you could tell he didn't have time to.  His business partner was out of town and he was alone in a store packed with people. He was very polite and working his ass off.  They didn't have the brass I was looking for and he took my name and number. I never did hear from him, but knowing how hard he was working that day I'm sure it got caught in the shuffle.  I didn't hold it against him.

I know two different people that have had work done by Cody and both were happy with the work. These are two young guys that work hard and deserve your business.

by the sounds of it I was the odd ball who wasn't impressed with the gunsmithing. Told a day to complete... then a week then a month. Finally just picked the guns up. They had been waiting on a new machine which went on back order. Then gunsmith was gone then when it finally came it broke.  Bad luck or timing maybe but either way I found another great gunsmith.
