need some help/advice.  i ain't a big fan of neoprene cause i sweat like bryant mckinney on a mankato practice field.  but, the selection in this town wasn't good.  so, i bit the bullet on a $225 pair for late season hunting w/ 1600 grams of thinsulate.  don't do much water hunting.  but, i have gotten back into it a bit more the last few years while waiting out the lull between the local birds getting smart and the northern birds showing up.   i also wear em in the field during late season duck hunts sometimes in lieu of boots and bibs.  anyways, i wore them once, hung em in the garage and went to put em on the next week only to find a hole chewed in them from a mouse.  i have found a couple of products online that claim to work.  but, i don't want to waste my time and money and have to remove a patch that ends up failing.  anyone ever fixed neoprene?  and what did you use?  thanks.

I've use a product called "Goop" and it worked well for a hole in the seam of my neoprenes, but I have no idea on how to patch a hole in neoprene.

lol... i've thought bout it.  i hate to admit it... but, they were bought at wal-mart and we all know they have a pretty liberal return policy.  the only other place in town only had one option and they didn't have em in my size and i needed them "now".  so, i couldn't wait to order them.  however, this ain't a leak in a seam.  its a hole.  caused by a mouse.  i would think even walmart would hesitate to take em back.

 Contact Cement and a Rubber Patch {bicycle tube}

Just make sure you coat both surfaces and let the cement dry BEFORE you apply the patch

I use Goop (holes in Muck Boots for instance).

But I make a little side batch of thinned Goop (thin with xylene) that I use to pre-soak/coat the area to be mended (soaks into fabric/pores better). I also use the thinned Goop to "feather" the edges better than is possible with the original thick goopy Goop. Thin to about the viscosity of Bailey's.

god i feel stupid today... u mean cats?  i've got three of the worthless fucyers!  but, none of them have figured out how to open the garage door yet.  which is probably why thats the only place i have mice.  i could blame it on myself for leaving the door open, leaving some leftover bird seed out to entice them and never allowing the cats in there for fear they will piss on my fish house again.  but,  its much easier to blame the cats... and, of course, shoot em if i don't recognize them as my own.

 If the cats wouldn't have pissed on it the mice wouldn't  have been repelled  and they would have chewed holes in that too.  I saw a fish house that had so many mouse holes in that it looked like netting.   Make sure it is closed up tight or you will not be a happy fisherman.
