Nelson Lake - Sunday, May 3, 2009

water levels are extremly high 12 more inches and it is gonna go over the dam on the south end!  water is stained and cloudy . fish are not cooperating at all. carp are everywhere sloshing around spawning and i suspect the bass are doing the same someplace. caught 2 bass in 6 hours today both small couldnt even find a crappie? think im gonna turn my attention to the river and catch some walleyes for a while!!!!! water temp is 72 by discharge 64 in the creek and 67 by the dam. the high water has totaly changed the lake. i have no idea where the fish have gone, i cant find em?????
