Photo Description:
So we finally get around to checking our Trail Camera and find this image on it 2 days after setting it andour food plot up. This is our neighbor whom not only doesn't have permission to be on our property, but is pouring an unidentified substance on the food plot (again doing so without our permission) and doing it during a time where we are not home. Here is a guy who has thousands of acres of land he and his family farms and hunts on and he's concerned about our less than 2 acres we live on? What are your thoughts and comments about our next step...

I would be at his door confronting him. Give him alll the rope in the world to hang himself. After he has denied it 2 or 3 times throw that picture in his face. I would even do it in front of his friends and just blow the whole thing up. It's one thing that he was on your land but to have him sabotage your hunting area thats way over the line. Have some fun with this one

Oh believe me ugly we want to do that. My husband is a retired disabled combat vet and let me tell you the Sgt came out full force when we saw this...we talked to a buddy of ours that is in law enforcement locally and he suggested to not confront our neighbor because if he's low enough to pull this, he'd be low enough to say we were trespassing and threatening him...so we're going to let the law handle this...its really sick though. We're also putting up more cameras too because...not going to point any fingers right now...but we've had other minor occurances happen since we moved out to where we are...someone unkenneling our dogs (the only way to do that is unhook the bungee straps at the top and bottom of the door since our pups broke the latch) and the bungees were nicely placed at the top of the fence, and someone got in my vehicle turned all my interior lights on and exterior lights so my battery died. Like I said not going to point any fingers but highly suspicious at this point. We're even considering child endangerment because our 3 young children play down in this area too and if we didn't see any deer down here for 3 weeks...just makes you wonder what our children have been exposed to.

Wow.  If you guys were both 80yrs old, I say throw some dead fish in the back of his vehicle.

But seriously, press charges and take the advice of your law enforcement buddy.  I hope this guy learns his lesson.

I would report it to the police.  That's the only way he's going to stop.  He's committing a trespass and criminal damage to property.  Make him pay.

You have him red handed.  Guilty of trespassing for sure.  Also guilty of vandelism and/or property damage.  He should be fined and have to pay you restitution for the damage.  Also a restraining order keeping him away from your property.

Here's a great website, I know a friend that purchased some of these from this website for his farm.  When his parents left the farm vacant they had people trying to break into there quonset's so he set a few of these up and caught them.  If you're going to spend the money, do it right.  They might be looking at revenge if you turn them in once.  They can steal the trail cams if they see them.

I dont know the laws.  But if this guy has committed these acts,  could it fall under the new terror laws?

We're going to be talking with the Traill County Sheriffs Department and Game Wardens Gary Rankin and Jason Scott about it, following the advice from there we may employ the resources of the States Attorney/Attorney General if not a private attorney, to press charges of Criminal Trespassing, Illegal Dumping and possible child endangerment (because of the unknown substance), as well as obtaining a restraining order.  The individual in question resides in Traill County, for those of  you questioning who he is at this point I will not release his name just for the simple fact no charges have been pressed yet and regardless of the evidence we have against him, we're trying to do things the legal way unlike he decided to do. We will keep you updated with what happens for sure. Thanks for all the advice and "go get him" comments ;)

I think a front page shot on the local newspaper is a fantastic idea.  Publicize this and he will become a head hanger(meaning when you meet someone like this you look down or away).  Let him rot in his lonely little world he has created.  When I saw the pic and read the story, I got the fighting eye of the tiger feeling in my stomache.  Very very low life SOB.
