need many for pickling.  Like 50-60 lbs   will drive for larger quanity.

Only have a 14 foot with a 6.5hp  little small for the big lake and the rest of the local lakes are really weedy.
Tried the Stanley Res. about a mile south on Stanley great kids lake caught 13 in 1 hr largest was 9 inches smallest one just hung on to the gulp couldn't get the hook in his mouth.
Maybe white earth in the middle of the week

If you cant keep a limit of 6 to 10lb pike from shore at grano or below darling dam you're doing something wrong. Try big flashy jerk baits like husky jerks or bright colored ripsticks twitched and jerked back in on the retrieve.

I like pike because they are evil, they taste great and any Southern LM bass technique is effective.  We vertically jigged spoons and swimbaits too.

The area around Devils Lake has a 5 limit.  I think it is Benson, Ramsey & Eddy counties.
