fishing with Dad this weekend.
his Lowrance 5300c does not leave a trail?

GPS works but no trail is left...I am hoping it is a matter of adjusting a setting.

I went through all the menus but I can't seem to find any that turn the trail on or off?

anybody have any ideas or run into this before?

thanks

With the map on, if you hit menu and select overlay data, I think you will find it someplace in there if it is like the older ones... From memory so I could be wrong.

Yes, you can turn trails on or off using "options" or "settings".  Make sure you are on the GPS page and go through your menus.  Good luck.

I had an issue with my Lowrance 334 iGPS.  Depthfinder wouldn't work, just the map.  Found a guy that did a hard boot.  Shut it off, held the Zin and Zout buttons down and hit power, release when map comes up.  I beleive the soft boot is to turn unit off, hold pages button and hit power.  Have no idea if your unit is the same, but it may be worth a shot.

I say to hell with that pot o' gold.
