Has anyone else heard or seen pics of the supposed mountain lion dragging a deer near New Salem?  Saw pics of it on someone's phone this morning and supposedly it was taken from a trail camera near New Salem.  Big cat dragging what looks to be a 3 x 3 or small 4 x 4 WT buck. Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything?

That's the one I got, they said it was from the cannonball river bottoms. Personally don't buy it, but I've been wrong before. If a guy does a little searching you can find this pic on forums from multiple states during multiple times all claiming to have came from their own area, cool pic but..... not from around here.

On archerytalk.com that lion has been in just about every state in the nation over the last year.  He should get tired of traveling soon and stop to eat!
Put down the gun and step away from the truck.
Its time to hunt!!

Yup, saw a few news articles about it and they all said Texas ranch trail cam pic. There's a feeder in the background.

That cat must be tired! He's been dragging that deer across the country!! Funny how everytime he gets his picture taken it's in the same pose with a feeder in the background!?
The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. Then why do I hunt? I hunt for the same reason my well-fed cat hunts...because I must, because it is in the blood, because I am the decendent of a thousand generations of hunters. I hunt because I am a hunter.- Finn Aagard
