Was a windy night we used jigs with worms under a bobber. I caught a perch and a little walleye. Had 3 other bites but couldnt hook up. Fun night tho

We went out on Moon the past two days and the access is walking or sleds only. The ice thickness went from 14 to 30 inches and is milky, but solid enough for sleds. We walked out from the landing to about the middle of the lake and used swedish pimples tipped with minnow heads. We caught all the 6-7 inch perch a guy could want. Not much to clean, but it was great to get out in this nice weather.

went out to moon lake saturday trolled with crawler harnesses from about 4 till 9 about 5 little walleye and one nice perch pushin a 1 1/2lb weather turned to shit but other than that it was an ok day. Also does anybody know how to fish chinook salmon on moon i saw that back in 2004 the stocked 560 adult salmon and any tips on how to catch trout out of moon would be nice.

We decided not to take the boat out and fished from shore on Moon Saturday and Sunday on posted private land...caught a lot of boaters' lines that were trolling, even aquired a couple new lures I guess. Whatever happened to the 100ft regulation in the fishing proclamation...I can post it if it is unclear? On a positive note we did catch severak walleye and trout though. If anyone wants to know specifics about bait and area PM me. In all my years of fishing this lake I have never encountered this much disregard for a shore fisherman...hope it is not like this always...better take the boat out next time I guess or I just may run my catfish rod out to 100ft and be waiting with my scissors

You can not get on the ice with a truck due to snow. In addition, it has a lot of slush on the ice and only about not a lot of good ice. Even if you can bust a trail, I would not suggest driving a pick out.
Fished Saturday in 32ft of water, marked a few, but couldn't get anything to go. |
