MN cougar

yelowjackt Joined: 08/31/2005 Location: ND	Cougar spotted in Otter Tail County Otter Tail County, Minnesota, has its first confirmed report of a mountain lion (cougar) sighting. A private trail camera caught the image of the cat northeast of Fergus Falls earlier this month. DNR Area Wildlife Supervisor Don Schultz of Fergus Falls says he verified the motion-detecting camera location. Schultz says there is no known breeding population in Minnesota, but there are occasional sightings. The nearest known breeding population is in the Black Hills, and it's possible the mountain lion came from that area. Cougar attacks on humans are very rare.
