I've actually been having some luck around Bismarck when the traffic isn't too heavy. I've been doing cranks on sandbars, it's slow, but keeper walleyes that are looking really healthy. No saugers lately. Gonna head north tonight to avoid traffic, get away from the jet skis.

I was told the water downstream was dropping rapidly and that the Langeliers boat ramp was at the end of how far you can push it in? Has anyone been there in the last few days.

Put in at Langellers on Saturday after hearing a few reports. Boat ramp is fine but getting out to the main lake was another story. Water was plenty deep but there were tons of floating logs. My buddy stood in the front of the boat with the paddle pushing them out of the way as I drove the boat. We did good pulling cranks until the wind came up. Fish were really fat! Had are best luck with orange walleye divers and wonder bread colored thunderstick jr.'s. fished in 18-20' of water.

The fishing has slowed down a little. It's the river, this does happen this time of the year. We have been spoiled. Relax and get back to the basics.

2025_ProV,

I live in Washburn. I haven't been out for a week. Last weekend, we limited out. My wife and I have limited out everytime. We used cranks, bottom bouncers, with minnows and crawlers. Haven't tried leeches. Fished anything north of bridge. Watch out for rocks on Washburn side of water. Follow sand bar. There is a 8-10 ft hole follow that up north. Very worth coming to Washburn.
