I aplogize for this not being so much of a report but more so a "How to" post but I live close to the Sanger boat ramp and I have talked to serval guys who say they are catching some fish but is for the most part slow recently.  Anyway, I am looking for advice on how to fish the river, I have been out several times and only caught a white bass.  I have always fished Audubon or Sak. and I am very green when it comes to river fishing.   Beings I live right on the river I would like to have an idea of what I am doing, I just don't know where to start., I realize trial and error is probably the best bet but any advice is greatly  appreciapted.  Thanks in advance.

Put in last week friday out of misty and it was quite a miserable day, but can't beat a day of fishing on the missouri. Anyway fished from 6pm-10pm and boated 5 perfect eater walleyes, 2 came by cranking in 8-10fow and the other 3 came from drifting jigs in 4-8 fow.  Fish aren't hard to catch right now you just need to get out and put in some time and you will boat fish!!

I live in Dickinson.Drove to the Stanton Power Plant yesterday to try see if the road was open past the old cement plant. But guess what was in the way of my view.Couldn't really see much with the train in the way and it was moving pretty slow.15 minutes per car and I didnt see the engine yet. So I left. But does anybody know if you can get down to the water.Want to try some shore fishing again.Any infow would be great.Good Luck everybody and stay dry.
