Missouri River (ND Lower Portion) - Friday, June 5, 2009

HIt cattail bay for the first time ever this past Friday.  3 of us didn't get on the water until almost 10am.  A boat was coming off with 3 guys that had their limit and they got them cranking.  We tried pulling spinners/worms in about 12 - 18' first, got nothing but a few crap fish so moved up to the old school house.  A lot of boats out and everyone seemed to getting fish.  I wouldn't say the action was hot and heavy but we were able to manage a limit of eyes from 14 - 22" with some white bass, pike and drums mixed in.  Got the majority of fish in 6 - 12'  with a combination of spinners/worms and crankbaits.
