My kid just got back from Army Basic and we were planning on heading up to Devils Lake for a few days. I was wondering what the access is by Minnewauken. Can you drive out with a 4WD pickup? Any pointers and Info would be appreciated.

not sure about access at minnewaukan but access on other parts of the lake are good. i would say you could probably drive a 4x4 just about anywhere on the lake.for a spot to fish i would suggest the north end of six mile bay for starters. good luck
