A whole lot of our doves are in SD or further now after that last rain. We should start seeing some woodies, teal, etc. soon. All depends on the weather.

It's not that bad.

it all really depends on the weather but as a general rule sometime between the middle of october and the first part of november. But if the weather stays warm sometimes it can be well into november. Also i live in minot and if u ever get up here and want to possiably go hunting you could maybe go along with us.... just depends on who has already asked to go hunting with us but we are always up for showing people new to ND the unbelievable hunting in our state

you mean the really crappy hunting for small deer and goats and the even worse hunting for minuscule numbers of pheasants and and even fewer migratory birds. right?    haha i couldn't resist!

Some smaller canadas are making their way into the state. Cranes are here. Also saw about three dozen snows south of martin.

I was grouse huntin Saturday morning and seen several big groups of snows and blues. Aslo seen a few small bunches of specs. Some of my family that live in Kentucky are going to Canada next month. The connection they have up there said all the crops are in the ground and there is water in places they have never seen. No geese in that part of Saskatchewan.
