Seriously? Because of Tex's superior ethics?
sounds like you know first hand of his ethics?  please share

Back before the oil boom I was a young fella short on grass (pasture) and put an ad in the paper.

Got a call from old Tex saying he had pasture on the res for rent.

But the kicker was his neighbors didn't like him renting it out to outsiders so to keep them from bothering my cattle he had a brand that we could put on them.

I often wonder if he got anyone to fall for that one.

Pastures that he used his position - to steal from other leasers...he was sued over it btw.

And yeah what a sweet deal LMAO.....I am sure he would have returned all your cattle.

I'm not defending Tex.  In fact I said this whole thing needs to be investigated by the Feds.  What I am saying is this is nothing new on the Res.  Tribal members have accused every single Tribal Chairman of thievery since the beginning.  Until someone gets convicted it's nothing more than gossip.  If what Infidel says is true it will be a slam dunk case for the feds.  And there isn't enough votes on the MHA reservation to cause any fear of that.  Natives no nothing different than to vote democrat anyway.  So it wouldn't matter.

I recall Wilkinson going to jail, but I think others about MHA have a short memory. Plus I suppose Hall wrongly thinks he is above it, too popular for it to come back on him.

I think he is wrong, I hope he is wrong.

And yes the dumbocrats have a strong hold on the reservation, all those freebies eh.

Regardless of his guilt or innocence he should be investigated because of the close relationship he and his business had with this Henrickson chap. Despite what they find and how hard they investigate, it needs to be done for the public eye.

Tex Hall Loses Chairman Position

Tex Hall has lost his position as Chairman of the Three Affiliated Tribes following a primary election earlier this week.

Hall was first elected as Chairman in 1998. He has served in that position for 12 years.

Mark Fox received 29.4 percent and Damon Williams received 25.9 percent and will move on to the general election. Hall received 14.6 percent of the votes.

It should be noted that nearly 15 percent voted for Hall. So we can by default say 15 percent of the members are 'corrupt' aka depend on the wheels turning by Hall.

exactly.  where the hell is the BIA in all this?  And where the hell is all the tribe's money from oil?  They certainly haven't put any toward infrastructure or roads.
