I'm looking for some new places to do some metal detecting within a short drive of Minot.  I usually stick to the parks around Minot but lately people have be starting to hassle me with questions and telling me what I’m doing is wrong.  IT’S NOT I CHECKED!!  I had some one call the police on me last week. I  Would really like to try my luck on some private property.   If anyone has a house or farm and would mind me walk around every once in a while.  I would really like to find properties from the 60s and earlier.  I only dig small holes and put the grass back so u won’t notices the hole.

AF_  I would love to get back into metal detecting,  Had my equipment stolen and never did replace it.  What is the oldest or most valuable coin or piece of metal you ever found ?

Geo, your around forks aren't you?  I'd love to have a partner to hunt with if u get back into it.  I have the equipment but rarely use it.

Good luck in minot.  I used to live/detect there but it's been a long time.

They never notice the large black drums full of fish and usually go on to say "cuz there were some other guys who threw them back and we've been finding fish with holes." What ev
