ive been fishing here almost six days in a row have come home with fish everyday.and at least three walleye every night.some days better than others.the best day we had was six trout 5 in the 1.5 lb range, 1 being 4lb 4  oz,34 perch (8-10) 9-walleye caught one being 4lb 1oz the rest were 1.5-2.5 range.finding the eyes shallow water 8-12 ,ocassionally picking up a trout there.perch have been in the deeper water abou 14-20 fow. first couple days was really good but seemed like the fish are always moving here. even though i have a permeant ice house its more like a warming shack switched from the electric auger to the gas powered auger head due to the amount of holes needed to be drilling to stay on the fish.once you find them you need to drill many .usually in all directions about twelve to fifteen feet at a time to keep the bites constant. what has been working the best are the jr lure co. goby jigs the pink and the red ones, for some reason the perch colored ones arent working. chubby darters all different colors, the strike pros all colors and the stop signs most of the  colors that glow .i havent had any luck on any of the lindy darters at all i try them every day and they just dont work tried them with minnow heads full minnows dead minnows wax worms and without! the fish swim and look at the and are spooked away for some reason?most fish have been caught on the biggest minnows you can find. i get my bait from simonsons in minot and they are big and lively. lively is the key here to and very erradic jigging and im not talking jigging like a season pro jigger more like you are paddle fishing!well gotta go good luck guys.

This little dam has been a sleeper for a few years now. I have talked with several friends who have fished it for trout, walleyes, and perch and done well for both size and numbers. But it still remains off the radar.  Got an early day off work so I gave it a shot. Fished 21 to 24 fow and 3 of us brought back 7 nice perch about 9".  Sent at least that many back and one cigar walleye too in about 2 hrs of fishing. Did not drive on the ice as there is alot of slush and some deeper drifts, but its a small dam and you could walk from end to end in 15 min.

Last spring i absolutely killed the rainbows here, and pretty nice ones, 20in, but havn't made it there yet this year. i used to catch lots of perch with my grandpa 10 years ago, but only trout last year. Anyone been out, and anyone do any good on the perch last year?
