McClusky Canal Chain of Lakes Area

To enhance the protection of the Chain of Lakes Area, the Bureau of Reclamation has posted new rules and regulations to ensure minimal environmental impacts and the highest possible level of public safety by those visiting the area.



The Chain of Lakes Area is an increasingly popular destination for all kinds of recreationists. Thousands of people visit each year to enjoy its incredible fishing, hunting, camping, boating and beautiful scenery.  The rules and regulations are intended to govern the conduct of guests while visiting the McClusky Canal Chain of Lakes Area, including East and West Park, Heckers and New Johns lakes.



Enforcement of the newly posted rules and regulations will be conducted by the McClean, Burleigh and Sheridan county Sheriff Departments and will begin over Memorial Day.
