The majority of post's lately have been started by you, at all hours of the day, posting links to stories on other websites. It would not be so bad if you were actually starting discussions on topics.

Tim, any plans to start listing who started topics? It gets old opening posts only to find a link to another website. Especially when most of them are from the same guy from some other state with his own agenda.

You can't aim a duck to death.

Steve thank you for your concern.
What the hell do you do for a living? Well several things, tottally legall bussiness, none of which are HFoperations, guiding bussiness,or do I lease any property out to outfitters.  Does this make you happy?  I also pay taxes a lot of taxes. I have always been up all hours of the day and night, is this against the law?

"same guy from some other state with his own agenda."  In the terms of service does it say you cann't post if you have an out of state mailing address{ I am in ND a lot}
What do you think my agenda is?

Maybe you can start a petition drive to make it a law that only R.can post on a forum in ND?  In case you are not aware of it the internet sevices the whole world not just  in ND.  What is happening in Korea and the middle east are important to me as I have family stationed in both places, and yes there are SOME folks on this site are more in informed on these places than our elected offiicals.  Even as insulting as Allen is he is he seems to know what he is talking about when it comes to politics and world affairs, along with Tim,farnorth, and several others, you are not included in this list.

Yes I read lots of web sites very little TV news.

So I ask you does the mouse on your computer work? If so don't click on sometning that bothers you.

Dewey is the "copy and paste" king of FBO.  LOL. Steve, I was thinking the exact same thing you were. He must sit on the internet and look for stuff to post on FBO 24 hours a day.

Don't click on if it something bothers you?

With threads called "more truth" and whatever else you dream up its hard. Sometimes ole' Dewey has 50% of the threads on the menu. Sometimes you can't tell what it is, sometimes you can. But I agree Steve, its getting old.

Good to know I can hear about Palin quitting on EVER OTHER MEDIA SOURCE and then come here to talk hunting/fishing and know Dewey made sure we all knew about anyway. hehe.

And yes you have an agenda Dewey. You know it.

I asked you about 6 months ago if you have anything to add about your shooting/hunting history. I thought you would have some good stuff. I guess not, copy and paste it is.

Great to see "Fishing buddy" become "MausersBuddies" as he moves all his political talk here. So much for hunting and fishing discussion. I know, I know, the admin likes it, and he can run the site anyway he wants.

'I asked you about 6 months ago if you have anything to add about your shooting/hunting history"

Mr.  sdwxman,

I bought my first hunting permit in 1964,and have bought many sence then. I collect guns mostly per war guns. Years ago I competed in some bench shooting contest and still reload shells a lot.    I have shot elk in Id. Wy. and Co. all on Federal land except for one and it was on a private ranch we had leased to run yearlings on.
I have know idea how many  Antelope, deer, coyotes, fox, bobcats, doves crows, phesants, quail, several black bears, and federal hogs, I have shot.

Was in Alaska in 1971 shot several big game species there and trapped.

I have trapped most of my life, in the begining it was a for the money,as I grew up under the poverty level.   Something I am sure you wouldn't understand.

I do some fishing but very little as not very educated on how.

Does this satisfiy you.   I really don't care if it dosen't.

"Only a select few can post on FBOs." And it better be just what the few want to hear right?

I think Tim does a good with the mix of posts.  Why don't the "select few" just start thier forum and post what they want to hear about.   Opinions on what is going on in the world needs to be heard,no matter if you like them or not.

Yes, there are not enough other sites out their dedicated to that stuff.

Posting it here at "Fishing Buddy" is the best place for it.

btw I did shoot up 6 boxes of 28 ga shells today along with watching the news on Afganistan.  I think the barrel is bent on the gun.

Tim has some very good views.

Why did you click on this thread for any way if it bothers you so much?

You are right. Thanks for the reminder. I'll be sure to sign up quickly for any measure or petition that wants to get rid of that "practice." Thanks for enlightening me Dewey, without your presence here I would have never known. I think you've helped shape a lot of opinions. Pat yourself on the back.

It isn't that easy in SD to over ride the legislature with a petition. Be sure and sign it.
Finding out the facts will not hurt you in any way it would be something new.

sdwxman FBO posts more threads about politics and just plain nasty threads bashing people than they do about the outdoors. But it makes the site attractive for advertizers which in turn makes the site proitable for Tim and company.

I  would be for a outdoor related theme to all threads only. Hip hip who ray.

I gotta go with wax and Steve on this one.  When I first go on-line at night I get my fill of the other "crap" on the MSN home page.  When I go to FBO I want to read and chat about my passions of hunting, fishing and the outdoors.  An occassional political or non related post is cool but i agree it's been out of control lately.

The worth of the fish at the end of the day depends not on it's size or number, but the effort devoted to catching it.

mauser, obviously you only caught the annoyance of your cut and paste threads. Like I said in the first post on this thread, it would not be so bad if you were actually telling us your thoughts but cutting and pasting links to other stories is both lazy and most will stop following your links you post.

As of right now, I cannot tell who started the post without clicking on them. When I open it and there is a sentence and a link to another website, odds are good I will not follow it. Sometimes, but usually not.

I would think Tim and the advertisers on the site would be against having visitors leave their site as it is not the best for business.

Itt is good to see Tim and the  advertisers have someone to speak for them.

I am sure a comments like "What the hell do you do for a living? The majority of post's lately have been started by you, at all hours of the day"   is very important to the advertisers along with  "Especially when most of them are from the same guy from some other state with his own agenda."
Are any of the advertisers from out of state?

Would you like to tell me and the advertisers what my out oe state agenda is?

Are you and sdwxman share holders,or officers, of FB?

Have you told Bob Kellam who post many articles by cut and paste he too is upsetting the advertisers?

I will put an ** on any post I make from now on as I know how important you are and as  bdog stated  "Only a select few can post on FBOs." that way you know not to click on and you can avoid any  annoyance.

You might want to count the number of replies on many of the cut and paste threads as many have replyed.

BTW   What the hell do you do for a living?

Well, I work for a living. Not for myself, but for an employer so you may notice my posts are in the AM, late PM or on the odd day off. I do not have the time or luxury of posting all day long so I am probably envious of your free time.

Whether or not advertisers are from out of state probably does not matter, I would hypothesis that the vast majority of advertisers would not want their viewers going to other sites. If Tim and the advertising guru's of FBO think it is in their best interests to have visitors leave their site, I guess that is the business model they are willing to follow.

I believe I sent Bob a PM on another site years ago what I felt about cut and paste posts. Although Bdog and I usually do not agree on politics, he has posted about hunting and fishing, planting food plots, etc. The Mauser posts went from anti-anti-baiting posts/bashing anti-high fence posts to cut and paste links to many different sites. I do appreciate the ** so I will know which posts will be cut and paste to other sites. Thanks.

That is a good example of contributing to the site as opposed to the cut & paste type thread.

Steve,

Of course you work for someone else that's what sheep do.

Why spend your time and energy trying to control what Mauser chooses to post. It's a real simple fix. If you open a thread and don't like it move to the next.

I thinking your boss needs to give you more to do or you need to donate more time to charity. You got too much time on your hands when things like this bother you. Get a life man.

I don't know if you and I don't agree about politics I just don't trust politicians in general either party.
