On the way up to Lake of the Woods we drove by the manufacturer and I really wish I could afford a set for the 4 wheeler!  Pretty neat for sure!  Sorry, don't know the prices just droppin' a dreamin' post!

Dam, i think I will stick with my super swampers. I sure do like the looks of that fourwheelr in town with the tracks though. just wonder how well they work. if it slows the machine down, and turning. Not to mention replacing the tracks after you wear them out.

I checked into trax. It is like 2500.00 for an atv and like 12000 to 13000 for a pickup. They said it was better to get trax for full size trucks are anything that has an 8 bolt pattern. I can't remember why.

I believe with a 4 wheeler they'll basically go on any make and model.  My only question is how much strain does the tracks put on the drive chain (yeah I'm calling it drive train) of the 4 wheeler.  Also, I believe EACH track weights about 100 lbs.  That would probably require some more ponies via cc's to get what I guy wants out of his 4 wheeler.  All I know is I'd like to try some out.  I'm guessing you'd be basically unstoppable on the ice with a 4 wheeler.

p.s.  I'm guessing the Sports Show coming up in Feburary will answer all our questions!

I have tracks on my Polaris Sportsman. They are not Mattracks but man do they go through stuff. Works good for getting around Sakakawea when the white stuff actually does fall. I got mine from a tire place in Dickinson.

Have a friend that has them on his polais 6 wheeler 700,his rig is used for hunting ducks on the cranberry bogs here in MN,he claims its the only way to travel accross the bogs, down side is he burns the drive belts up pretty regular but the rig is unstopable.

A buddy of mine has a set he used on a suburban for a while, and they are unreal!! Drive down into a diversion ditch full of water snow and mud, stop in the bottom, hammer the gas and climb out the other side. Take off across a plowed field of red river valley gumbo that's wet and melting and never get stuck.

This moment is a paradox, it's the oldest you've ever been as well as the youngest you'll ever be.

I'm friends with the brother of the owner and last I heard he said a set for a pickup is about $15,000.00, about $4,500.00 for a 4 wheeler. They aren't real concerned with the consumer market, most of their business is governments and large companies. They are sold world wide and do a very brisk business, they have sold many sets over in the mid-east for in the sand.

Everyone is right, they are absolutely unstoppable. I think the only thing that would stop them is getting in water so deep the tracks can't touch the bottom or the motor gets wet. They are unbelievable!!! They will go right through a swamp and push water and cat tails with the grill, and not even slip!

If you want the phone number I can post it or send it to you. The owners name is Glen Brazier, he lives in Greenbush. His is the house right on Highway #11 as you get into town, the one with the indoor swimming pool. Go figure!

Yep, they would be great if you could afford the second rig to put them on. Not cheap, and not made for highway use.
