Lund Pro V GL Tiller

Lund has finally come out with a glass tiller.  Looks nice from the first glance.  Lots of interesting cutout sortage in the gunwale it appears.  Says 96" beam but looks like floor space isn't much more than what a Warrior has.  And I think rod strorage is only center rod but I'm not sure.  Hopefully more will come out soon  Thought I'd share!

20 footer all they making right now.

Rumor is, could possibly hang a 300 verado on it.  Lotta muscle on a tiller.

I called tufte marine and packaged from lund he only had pricing up to a 250 HP. It may be the issue that they don't have a 300 tiller option as of right now.

I priced the GL 208 proV tiller with a 200 verado at right around $56K just bare bones water ready, boat, motor and trailer. I figured this would be a boat that would compete with the Ranger line and it seems to be just a bit under. I am currently shopping boats in this category and might be headed towards a Yar-craft or warrior as they seem to be $10-$13K cheaper with the same motor category but less in overall weight. Lund does seem to pay good attention to overall interior design and use of space so maybe that will carry over into the glass tiller line. Time will tell as info becomes available.

The lund glass tiller dry weight is stated to be roughly 2200 lbs with a 25" transom depth and as Tim mentioned a 96" beam with a 20' 8" length.

You should be looking for a windshield and ski pole now.  Pretty soon it's tube pulling time!  haha

I am curious on actual floor space. Is 96 but might just be gaining some side storage and lost rod storage.  I do like the bait well up on bow. Not sure about all the gadgetry for the control center since very little actually molded. Could fall apart a little easier.

Warrior gets in at 46k with 200?  I haven't priced for a long while but that isn't terrible. What is terrible is I just said that isn't terrible. Ha.

I'm a little surprised it only has one livewell

Doesn't seem like it has a huge amount of storage. i suppose the cooler could be used as storage,  boat itself looks really nice, but not crazy about the storage. I do like the cockpit though.

I feel like its design robs storage. The cockpit I am talking. Personally I like the bow of warrior a bit more.

As for livewells, one is plenty or do you guys fish with four all the time and slam limits each time?  Plus, all boats should just rid of livewells since they are basically not necessary. Cooler space is better so can just ice the fish.

Warriors livewells are smaller but there are two of them. I use it a lot of the time for a bait well.

Idk, I watched video again. I don't mind that Lubd bow. Think could have made that cooler a little smaller though. Then tacked in another tackle storage.

They definitely get a monster thumbs up for carpeting.

Pretty sure I am just going to end up owning 3 boats.  Anybody got a used 621 with a 300 Verado for sale?

I still cannot get super excited about the Ranger. Maybe because it was one of the first sparkle boats and I used that to make myself feel better I was running a 16 ft 1980 Lund pro angler. First to have a livewell by George though!
