I arrowed a deer last night. Arrow went in akward to where I don't think it came out the other side, just went in about 4-5 inches and into the body cavity.  Thus, might have plugged the whole w/the arrow b/c there is no blood anywhere.  I looke for a few hours last night and then again in the morning.  Searched everywhere to no avail.  Put a trail cam out in the event she still might be alive, just with an arrow in her.  I really hate this situation.  Was a nice deer, and gone.  Heading down to look again now.

I haven't picked it up yet.  Going to do that this afternoon.  It is a Wildview so I have to bring the whole camera back and download onto the computer.  I sat there by the dam and didn't see her.  There were more deer coming so I could have missed seeing that doe.  Went walking yesterday morning and last night before I went to sit and still no trace of my arrow, blood or the deer.  I've no clue where she went.

We found two gut shot deer on the island we hunt in the last three days....They had two good blood trails also...
We drug them down by the river for the coyotes....
One of the guys shot another doe yesterday after he ran all the deer off tromping by my stand and my two friends stands also...Then he went back to the north and 30 yards behind one of my friends stands and shot a baby doe.
NEK9
HE GOT THAT ONE THOUGH....
HOPE U FIND HER

Nothing on the cam.  Moved it a little bit on a different trail.  Hopefully see what happens.  If nothing else I would guess one of us will find her over rifle season.  Nothing more that I hate than losing a deer.  Will leave the camera up for a couple days and see what happens.  Had deer chasing all over in the stand last night.  Had a doe coming in perfect and then I hear crashing through the trees and she takes off running, being chased by a buck.  Was fun to watch, but ended up with nothing again.

after a day of looking for wounded deer i have had the most luck the next day or two searching the water edges. i mostly hunt river bottoms and durring the rifle season we usually find 2 or 3 on the river banks or even laying in the shallows on a sand bank. good luck.

I have walked all over here during rifle and haven't found anything.  Nothing was on the trail cams either.  I figure either she is dead and tucked tight under a cedar tree or still alive.  I havent' smelled nor seen anything in that area that says dead deer.  She could have also went a long ways, but only thing about that is I went the next morning to look and no one else was around so I doubt she was pushed.  i sure thought I or one of the other guys would have cam accross it.  But nothing.
