Guys, I'm looking for any help or insight you have so speak up.

Wife has to go down to Yankton on Super Bowl weekend for some grad school stuff and I got volunteered to go down there with her, which is fine because I'll feel better than her making the road trip alone and I'm planning to go fishing down there.

Anyone fish Lewis and Clark Lake or below Gavins Point Dam? Or anywhere else in the Yankton area? I have a SD fishing license so I would prefer not to cross into Nebraska or Iowa.

I'm open to any information so I know what to bring. Panfish, walleye, whatever I just plan to fish when I'm down there and she's doing school stuff.

Thanks in advance for your help guys. We're driving from Dickinson, ND.

I haven't heard much lately, but I know people catch crappie in the marina area and people also catch bass and panfish in Lake Yankton.

I would give Captain Norms a call before you go..... (605) 665-4271

There has to be some walleye fishing to be had on the ice down that way??   I've never fished it before, but isn't there some nice walleye down there?

From the looks of the reports it sounds like they had some decent fall fishing, so one would think there would be a few fish around?  What is the forage base in that lake anyway?
