Last minute gift

Well it’s that time of year should probably start thinking about getting the wife something for Christmas.

I figured I’d get a jump on it this year since I have no idea what she wants?

I’ve been trying to throw some hints out there but not really getting anywhere…I told her the laundry basket is cracked…thinking maybe she’d want a new one…I also pointed out some of the pots have scratches on them…but then I looked at the price of pots and pans and decided those were good enough….I just can’t come up with any good ideas?

Just wondering what some of the fellow FBO’ers do to keep their better halves happy?

Just bought the wife a set of Rachel Ray pots from Sams in GF for $100.  They are good quality, and better than half off.

Yelow, don't you know that "Guys Day Shopping" is Christmas Eve day?  Selections by then are limited to help in your decision making.  And best of all the stores (and bars in between them) are filled pretty much with just guys.  So, quit planning so far ahead.  You're going to make the rest of us look bad!

Just go through the kitchin and find something she hasn't used for a while, box it up and wrap it and you're done!

For the love of god, please do not get her a laundry basket, pots and pans, cooking utinsels, ect. I am saving you from a few nights of sleeping on the couch..... dont get her anything that deals with cooking or cleaning, we dont need reminders of the crap we have to do around the house. U will thank me one day.  I would say, maybe a spa day would be a good way to go.

??? So you’re saying that even though she does all these things getting her a gift that assists her in the process would be a bad idea? Perha[s I should PM Josh?

can't go wrong with a little bling from the local jeweler.   what gal has enough diamond stud earrings, or a nice herringbone chain?  you can spend $50-$500 and be on target (even a 10-guage can't give you that range).  of course it helps if she visited the place and put in a little "santa wishlist" so the selection is closer to her tastes, but that isn't a deal-breaker, the help usually can nail it pretty close after asking you a few questions.  AND, the 24th is a good time to do that (price, lots of help, and company of other desperate guys doing the same thing).

Handmade trading-cards:  "Back rub for front rub".  Feel free to exchange them back and forth as often as you like.

A gift that will improve the physical and mental well-being for both of you.

Thank me later.

If she likes books or reading a kindle or nook would be a good way to go.

Dont get her anything that you would have to buy anyway. Get something that is more of a "want" than a "need".

Does she read? If she is anything like mine, she's reading all those vampire love books! I'm getting her an E-reader (cheap version of the Ipad). Either a NOOK Tablet or the Amazon Kindle Fire. Just a thought!
