caught roughly 20 walleyes.kept 10 at the 15 inch mark. we jigged all day. Stinger hook would help, didn't have any. Worms worked the best. Minnows with twisty tail wasn't bad. 1/4 Jig. bright colors. By rattlesnake point. That island is becoming pretty small with all the erosion.

Caught about 30 walleyes, kept 7 and one pike. Water is stained but not muddy. Spinners of any color were working. most fish in 12-14 fow.

We fished the tourney also and caught 46 walleye with 15 over 14inches and 1 that just missed the 15 in. mark by 1/16 of an inch. Fished trolling slow death hooks and spinners tipped w/half a worm or gulp worms. Been 2yrs. since I last fished the lake and what a blast catching fish. Also alot of white bass, 1 crappie keeper, and 7 10-11in keeper perch. oh can't forget the little hammer handles, good thing only 6 total even prefishing. Awesome lake to fish if you don't mind paying more for bait then gas hahaha.

Fished the tourney this past weekend. Lots of little eyes 8-13 inch not many bigger fish. Water is still really dirty on the west side of the lake.

Went out to Crappie on Tuesday. Only caught 1 walleye, 1 white bass, and a few small northern.

Was wondering if anybody knew of any fishing tourney's this summer. This is the closest lake for me and would love to do some tournements this year. Any info on sign ups and dates would be awesome. Thanks.

was wondering how access is to the lake after all that snow and wind. Would like to go out on sunday. I don't have a snowmobile or anything so we'll be walking out. any info would be great thanks

Went out the 16th and fishing horrible!!! We were there from 11am to 5pm and caught 4 walleye, none of which were keepers. It was a great day on the lake though in terms of weather. The 4" of slush that was there the week prior was slightly froze and every now and then you would break through it and fall the 4"...giving a slight heart attack.
Ice was about 18-20" and in good condition. Three other people out , no one was driving on the ice, snow was pretty thick and heavy. About 4"-5" of snow on the ice. |

between the slush and snow it was around 4-5 inches. i would not drive a pickup on it. a guy i talked to said he found some open water with his snow mobile and just about lost it.

crappie creek road was just fine however the lake had lots of slush and standing water on it. we caught a dozen 14 to 18 inch northerns, and one 13 inch walleye, jigging minnows. going to try it again this saturday.
