Lake Oahe (North Dakota) - Tuesday, June 16, 2009

Was out fishing with the inlaws for the past week.  We fished in South Dakota the first 5 days, it rained Saturday (6) threw Tuesday (9) we did fish at old Kennel an we did pick up some Walleye 7 on Saturday, 12 on Sunday, 17 on Monday, 7 on Tuesday  5 on Wednesday this was during the rain most of all our fish were caught on boncers with a crawler.  I asked my inlaws if anyone works anymore we counted 67 boats on Wednesday at old Kennel an when we went north to the state line it was a little less pressure but way to many to even think about pulling a crack.  Thursday never fished had a fish fry we packed up to mover to Praire Knight.  Friday fished right across the dock from the Marina right at the tree area to the north a little ended up with 15 (3 of us in the boat) nice fish we had other around us doing just as good. Saturday (4 in the boat) caught our 20 right at the same spot.  Sunday fish fry went down to cattail bay we only caught 1 went back up to the casino an caught 2 more an called it enough. We seen plenty of boats on the water everyone having a good time.  I did run across one thing at the fish cleaning station at the Marina a couple of older guys who didn't  turn the grinder on before putting their fish inn causing a mess...it's not just a place to clean fish an walk away tinking they will be gone some how.  They ( casino grounds keepers ) must have been over to fix things 4 or 5 times an that is about the only thing that Is causing it not to work right..... anyway good time had by all.........Prairie Knights is running the boat back an forth for those of you on the east side to spend some money..... Prairie Knights ( Keep up the good work your doing one hell of a job...glad to see we have water again.........
