Lake Oahe (North Dakota) - Sunday, August 29, 2010

Was out south of town on sunday cranked for two hours with no luck. As I was crankin noticed bait fish were being chased by a little inlet to a slough anchored up and started pitchin little white gulp shad on a jig head. Water temp was 65 ended up bringing home 2 eyes 21,23 and 4 nice northerns 3 white bass and 3 cats. With a dozen or so throw back hammer handles and little cats. Overall a good day. Just goes to show when the heat is on the fish still do bite just have to switch up the tactics. All the fish were caught running a gulp shad at the surface in about 20 FOW.
