Lake Oahe (North Dakota) - Monday, June 8, 2009

Didn't get on the water till later Friday afternoon.  Fished the Beaver Bay area and again, same situation.  Three person limit in about an hour.  Biggest was 25 inches.  Ended up catching and releasing around 30 or so in around three hours of fishing.  Pulled cranks in 10-12 feet of water.  Also tried crawlers, spinners and lindy rigs, same story.  Saturday was alot of rain and didn't get out till late afternoon.  Only managed 5 nice ones in two hours of fishing, but it was cold and wet!  No fun, so we packed it up and headed in for steaks and beverages.
