Report Details
Hello all, I have never fished Lake Oahe and am looking for some advice while fishing there. Im not looking for any hot spots (unless you want to tell me). I plan on fishing all day long on Thursday the 22nd. I plan on launching just south of Bismarck, unless there is a better place? I would appreciate any advice you give. Thanks

I put in at Hazelton and went north to Eckroths then worked my way down to across from the boat ramp. Fishing was pretty slow. Reports that I get are the futher south you go the better it is. I caught all my walleyes on cranks in 15 fow and northerns in 12 fow using a crawler harness. Good luck, keep us posted.

Was down at Hazelton last Sunday.  Fishing was relatively slow.  The wife and I caught 2 eyes, 4 notherns, 4 catfish, and a drum.

The eyes and 2 of the northerns were of keepable size.  We fished from straight across at Hazelton all the way down to Cannonball with the fish scattered between the many stops.

About the only sign of walleye activity in the area is right across from Fort Rice boat ramp in 18-26 ft of water and that area is plenty full of boats.

Anyway, hope you see this before you go out.
