Report Details
Trailrider, when pretty much all the fish are being caught in or just on the edge of flooded timber you have to expect snags.  Like mentioned below, you have to run above the snags.  I have been fishing mainly in the 20' range latley and haven't run deeper than 17'.   When you do get a snag if you go back behind it I've found that 99% of the time I get my crank back.  As far as the guy who was releasing 22" fish, just because you didn't catch any doesn't make him a liar.  Plenty of boats came off the water with limits of fish last weekend when I only got 6 walleyes.  It happens.  That's why it's called fishing, not catching.
