Lake Oahe, Missouri River - Sunday, August 30, 2009

Report Details
workstomuch, We put in today at Walth Bay about 10:00 this morning, drove down to the south point of the mouth of the Moreau and started cranking on south all the way to Fielder Creek. Caught one fish, came back to north of Fielders and pulled our way back upsream and picked up three more, one over twenty, an eighteen+ and another17+ inch fish. had obligations and left the water at 3:00 PM, seen 6 boats across the river on the bar at  SwanCreek, dontknow how they did. We fished completely alone all day, no pirates around, matter of fact we were the first ones to put in at Walth at ten AM, when we came off there was only four other rigs at the ramp. Its really a great time to fine tune your crankbaiting skills, you dont have to worry about dodging around other boats  on or around the areas you fish, and there is fish to be caught, you just have to work for them and have patience.

thanks for the Reply, I talked to some guys who were fishing down by Pierre and it sounds like they did pretty good down at that end, I think atleast one of the days we'll trailer down that way and try it.
