Lake Metigoshe - Sunday, January 17, 2010

Fished Sat. and while action was poor most of day, last 45 minutes were out of this world.  I found that the fish were buried in the weeds during the day, they rose above the weeds near dark.  While drilling, I found an interesting bug, looked like a shrimp similar to Devils Lake, but was white in color with a tannis tail about 1.5" long.  Relased many perch(to 8") and Bluegills, brought home 17 up to 11".  2tone tear drop and spikes were the ticket.  There was spots with about a foot of water on the ice so travel with a vehicle was tricky
